First Saturdays: Gallery Tour
Do you enjoy visiting galleries but do not often feel comfortable stepping inside on your own? Or would you like to get up to date with the latest developments in the world of contemporary art? Then join this gallery tour, which takes place every first Saturday of the month.
Panel: De kunstbeurs ontleed
Please note: this event will be held in Dutch.
COLLECTIBLE
We will take you to COLLECTIBLE in Brussels, the leading fair devoted entirely to twenty-first-century collectible design. In the iconic Vanderborght building you will discover work by international design studios, established and emerging galleries, as well as independent makers who push the boundaries of design. In a time when cities increasingly resemble one another and trends circulate at high speed, the desire for originality continues to grow.
Dooyewaard Residency with Bas Oussoren, Lorian Gwyn and Krijn Kroes
On 14 March, we will travel to Blaricum for studio visits in the historic ateliers of the Dooyewaard Foundation, where three artists are living and working this winter as part of their residency: Bas Oussoren, Lorian Gwyn and Krijn Kroes. A residency programme offers artists time, space and resources to develop new work away from the distractions of daily life. It provides focus and depth, and sometimes also mentorship or a new professional network.
Ambassadors Drinks
We warmly invite you for a drink during the VIP Preview of Art Rotterdam on Thursday 26 March at 5:30 PM. We’ll meet in the hospitality area, so we can catch up and share our favourite discoveries from the fair. We’ll also be happy to provide you with a VIP ticket (valid for two people) for Art Rotterdam, giving access on all fair days (26–29 March).
Living the Glass Age
On Saturday 11 April, we travel to the beautiful Eemklooster in Amersfoort for the second edition of Living the Glass Age, the Dutch biennial dedicated to contemporary glass art. Organized by Stichting UNexpected Glass, the exhibition brings together 31 Dutch and international artists and presents glass as an expressive, experimental, and boundary-pushing artistic medium.
Lisbon
From 28 to 31 May 2026, we’ll travel to Lisbon for ARCO Lisboa, the Portuguese edition of the renowned ARCO art fair.
The fair takes place in the historic Cordoaria Nacional, where a range of international galleries present contemporary art with a strong focus on Portugal, Southern Europe, and the African diaspora. Over the past years, ARCO Lisboa has evolved into a dynamic fair and a fixture on the European art calendar. During our visit, we’ll not only explore the fair but also dive into Lisbon’s vibrant art scene — from tours of the city’s
Tokyo
From 10 to 13 September 2026, we’ll travel to Tokyo, the vibrant heart of Asia’s contemporary art scene. The program includes Tokyo Gendai, visits to leading galleries, artists’ studios, and top museums, plus a group dinner and welcome cocktail. As an optional add-on, you can join a two-day trip to the iconic art island Naoshima.
Istanbul
From 25 to 27 September, we’ll travel to vibrant Istanbul, where centuries-old history meets contemporary art. During this trip, we’ll visit both Contemporary Istanbul, Turkey’s leading art fair, and the Istanbul Biennial, where you can discover emerging talent and established artists alike. In addition to these international art events, we’ll also dive into the city’s dynamic art scene — the program includes a visit to a unique private collection and several up-and-coming galleries.
